Public transportation isn't the most reliable, so renting a car is your best bet for convenience and flexibility.

Mount Nebo:
Mount Nebo in Madaba offers a breathtaking experience with its biblical significance and panoramic views, ancient mosaics.
This sacred site captures Jordan's cultural and religious heritage, with scenic beauty stretching from the Dead Sea to distant hills.

A 45-minute, 40-kilometer drive from Amman takes you through Jordan's captivating landscapes to Mount Nebo. The entry fee is 2 JOD for tourists. For the exact location, check Google Maps: Mount Nebo, Madaba, Jordan.

Baptism Site:
Visit the Baptism Site, where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Explore the serene landscapes, immerse yourself in its profound spirituality, and trace the footsteps of ancient history.

The site is about a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from Amman, covering 40 kilometers.
Ticket prices range from 12 JOD to 18 JOD per person, depending on the package.

Ma'in Hot Springs:
Jordan's top relaxation spot surrounded by beautiful nature.
The only hotel there costs about 100 JOD per night; compare rates on Booking and Agoda for the best price.
Relax in the hot spring-fed pool with very hot mineral water flowing from the mountains, and admire the impressive, though extremely hot, waterfall.

For a free short visit, Ma'in offers free access to the hot springs, great for a one- or two-hour stop.
A nearby shop sells ice cream, water, and snacks.
The scenic hour-and-a-half drive from Amman offers views of Jordan's rugged terrain and lush valleys.

Wadi Mujib:
Welcome to Wadi Mujib, Jordan's majestic canyon!
enjoy on an adventure filled with jumping, swimming against the flow, climbing ladders, and traversing rocky terrain in the water.
It takes at least an hour to reach the end of the canyon and 45 minutes to return, floating on water almost the entire way back.
Ropes and free floating vests are provided for safety, and wet shoes can be rented for comfort.

Please note, Wadi Mujib is closed from November to March due to heavy rainfall and flash floods, reopening in April.
Free parking is available.

Jordanians: 15 JOD.
Residents: 18 JOD.
Tourists: 21 JOD.

Both are 5-star hotels, but Mövenpick offers a more luxurious experience, the open buffet dinner is better and it has a sandy beach swimming pool, though at a higher cost.

While free, accessing the Dead Sea's beaches requires 150 meters walk.

Bring 3-4 liters of water to rinse off after swimming to avoid skin irritation from the salt.
Consider bringing a picnic mat and snacks for added comfort.

Though the food can be pricey, drinks like tea and coffee are affordable for savoring the sunset.
